We've had a great first summer season under new ownership at Bluebell Lodge. 5-star reviews continue to roll in as more and more people discover the beauty of the Solway Coast and our comfortable and inviting space.

I recently hosted family visiting from Canada at the lodge. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend exploring the local sights including Threave Gardens, the Dumfries Museum and Rockcliffe beach. No visit to Kippford would be complete without a trip to The Anchor for a nice meal, delicious Chinese takeaway from Rose Garden, and ice cream from the Mr. Whippy truck at Rockcliffe. We missed the space and serenity of the lodge a few days later when we shared a single hotel room in Edinburgh!

While the autumn calendar is starting to fill up, there are deals to be had, including some availability for October half-term. We've got a brand new boiler to keep you cozy as the cooler months approach and we're looking forward to decorating for the Christmas holidays!

We offer flexible changeover dates (minimum 3 night stay).
You can make a booking request and see pricing directly from our availability calendar .
Discounts are available for early bird, last minute and long stay bookings (more than 7 nights). These discounts are applied automatically to the base rental, based on your selected dates. Use the discount code FB10 for an additional 10% off!
We now accept well-behaved pets (small additional cleaning fee).

Red Squirrels are part of the wildlife at the bird table!

This morning at the bird table we had pheasants, badgers, red squirrels as well as the usual bunch of finches, tits, & nuthatches.
